House renovation slow and slower in Latvia

There are more than 39,500 multi-occupancy residential buildings in Latvia. According to the State Audit Office’s assessment, at least 26,600 of these are in need of renovation. However, only around four per cent of multi-occupancy buildings have been renovated to date. This means that the bulk of the necessary work still lies ahead.
