43-year-old Dmitry Shepelev, in an interview with the publication "Teleprogramma", spoke about his son's interests and explained why Platon is not yet striving for publicity, despite already having experience in film shooting. The teenager has tried his hand as an actor, appearing in a small episode of the second season of the series "Crybaby". Moreover, the role turned out to be close to his real life: at that time, Platon was actively interested in playing the electric guitar. According to Shepelev, his son was satisfied with the filming, but he did not like the increased attention to his person. "Platon liked this experience. And when we discuss invitations to movies now, he says that he feels uncomfortable with the attention, and he doesn’t want to repeat it," the TV presenter said. Music still plays an important role in the boy's life. However, he has become even more passionate about basketball and is ready to train for hours, improving his ball-handling skills. At the same time, the father made it clear that sports achievements should not interfere with education. "I have one condition. First — studies, and then basketball. That’s how it stands," Shepelev emphasized in the interview with "Teleprogramma".
